Pothole Patrol is an innovative application designed to facilitate the reporting and repair of potholes in Johannesburg. Developed through a collaboration between Discovery, Avis, the City of Johannesburg, and the Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA), this tool aims to enhance road safety for all users.

The app provides a streamlined way for road users to log potholes with just a click of a button. Users can easily upload images of potholes, pinpoint their locations, and notify the Pothole Patrol team for swift action.

Application Features:

• Geo-location Functionality: The app utilizes Google Maps for accurate pinpointing of pothole locations, including street names and numbers.
• Repair Progress Notifications: Users receive real-time updates regarding the status of reported potholes, ensuring they are informed throughout the repair process.
• List of Logged Potholes: Users can view all the potholes they have reported, along with information on which ones are scheduled for repair and those that have been successfully fixed.
